A continued intake of olive oil into the diet, especially Extra Virgin Olive Oil, provides a constant supply of antioxidants. High consumption of olive oil may therefore provide substantial protection against diseases such as cancer, and coronary disease.

Olive Oil is rich in Vitamin E which is a natural antioxidant. It is also high in Vitamin A, D & K. In comparison with other fats, it is considered that Olive Oil is easier to digest due to the low acidity level.

LOWERS BAD CHOLESTEROL

Olive oil has a particularly high content of monounsaturated fatty acids. Studies have shown that monounsaturated fat can lessen Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol (also known as the bad cholesterol), which may decrease the risk of heart disease.
